Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, Trans People of U of T (LGBTOUT)
LGBTOUT is the primary sponsor and fundraising body for the scholarship. It is a queer student group with over 35 years of history at U of T. LGBTOUT runs various social and political events and initiatives for queer student an their allies at U of T and in the broader community.

Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund (OSOTF) (PDF)
The OSOTF was established in 1996 by the Province of Ontario to provide financial support for Ontario college and university students pursuing full-time post-secondary education. Pledges for endowment made through U of T to the OSOTF will be matched-dollar for dollar-by the Province of Ontario. Students who are Canadian citizens or permanent residents will be eligible to receive aid from U of T's OSOTF based on financial need.

Administered by Supporting Our Youth (SOY) and governed by a board of Trustees, the Bill 7 Award was established in 1988 to provide financial support to lesbian and gay students in post-secondary education in Ontario. The Award is named after the 1986 Ontario legislation that extended the protection of the Human Rights Code to lesbians and gays.
Mark S. Bonham Scholarship for Queer Studies in Film and Video
A scholarship valued at $5,000 for LGBTT Canadian citizen or landed immigrant pursuing undergraduate studies in the fields of film and/or video relating to LGBTT issues.
Lambda Foundation Scholarships
The Lambda Foundation raises money to enable universities to grant awards designed to promote national recognition of individuals or groups who, through their achievement, build bridges of understanding between gays and lesbians, other equality seeking groups, and Canadian society as a whole. Awards are established at: Carleton University, University of Ottawa, University of Manitoba, University of New Brunswick and Universite de Montreal.
The Emperor Sergio Memorial Scholarship Fund
Since 1993, the Trillium Knights of Ontario has provided funds for the Emperor Sergio Memorial Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is available to all homophile/homophile-positive persons who are attending an educational institution in the province of Ontario and have a grade average of at least 75%; or who qualify as a mature student; and children (between the ages of 19 and 25) of homophile/homophile-positive parents between the ages of 19 and 25 inclusive who are attending (or has been accepted into) an educational institution in Ontario and have a grade average of at least 75%.
